Emily Scott

Photography is more than my job. It has changed how I see the world and how I communicate what I see. I have learned to say things with photographs that I don’t know the words for.

I’ve been a photographer for 8 years now. I’m grateful that this career has allowed me to pursue beauty in so many ways.

I am relational to my core. What motivates me more than anything is the opportunity to build deep and meaningful relationships. Whether that’s with brides and grooms, the brands I work with, the designers I photograph for, the projects I take on, or the friendships I keep – these are the relationships that ignite my heart to create. This drive influences the way I shoot, the clients I choose to work with, and the exceptional end product that I am able to create.

I believe this is what makes me different. I only take on a limited amount of clients because I cannot do anything but offer my whole self to any project I take on. I don’t seem to know another way.

I became a mother just over 2 years ago, and my little girl has opened my eyes to the beauty of motherhood. I now also cherish opportunities to capture families because I know all too well that babies don’t keep.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this space, where I get to share the things that I find most beautiful. I would love to connect with you.
